About Me

Why Touralot?

Well it's like this: a colleague and friend of mine used
to be with an ISP called Camelot, and I thought ... oh,
if only the Web were a Round Table and we could all
be Knights and Ladies, or Evil Giants and things! And if
so, how would I be called?

Touralot means I do like the name says. I run tours
for different companies, with clients from all over the
world, taking them all kind of places. By plane, coach,
train, even once (only once) on a caterpillar-track
down from the summit of the Klein Matterhorn in a
blizzard. I've escorted people from all walks of life:
students, diplomats, war veterans, pilgrims .. all kind
of tours over the years.

About me:

I organise and run tours, independently and for major
tour operating companies, everything from planning
and marketing to day-to-day operating, and
customer care - the main thing! I have a
postgraduate business qualification in tourism, and
tons of experience. In summer 2004 I expect to be
visiting Italy, Switzerland, Eastern Europe and the
USA, perhaps also the French Riviera.
